We thankfully woke up to beautiful blue skies and calm winds on Saturday and started our short journey to Sagle, Idaho.  It was great seeing Rick and Polly and their beautiful home which is right near Lake Pend Oreille (pronounced Pond Arel).  After a relaxing day of cards sharing our trip plans, Rick fixed us a wonderful dinner of Egg Plan Parmesan. Deliciosso!!

On Sunday they gave us the Sagle/Sandpoint tour around the lake and town and had a delightful late lunch at Trinity, their favorite watering hole overlooking the beach.  A beautiful day, though very hazy due to all the fires happening all around Idaho and Washington. 

A wonderful visit with great friends.  Today we will move on to Glacier National Park.
