We really had a good time here in Gorham, NH at this park. The owners took us and about 11 other kayakers out on the Androscoggin River (try pronouncing that one)! I usually avoid rivers but we kayaked in between two dams on this one and it was nice and calm with no white water. We were out for about 2 hours and it was really awesome. There are supposedly lots of moose and black bear here but we didn't get to see any:(
Later we took a drive up to the White Mountain National Park and saw some beautiful waterfalls and had a great campfire to top off our visit.
The above pictures were taken as we were passing through Vermont and New Hampshire.
The campground is called White Birches and you can see why.
Here we are going out kayaking.
Ellis Falls.

What a wonderful day you had. Isn't it neat when a random stop turns out so perfect.
