Well, here we are in Boston, MASS.   Neither of us really thought we'd ever be here...still pinching ourselves.  I felt a little bit like Marlo Thomas when I stepped foot on Boston ground.  We are at Wompatuck State Park, electric only, $26 per night.  It is a beautiful park here in Hingham and each site is in its own little forest.  Very nice and only 15 min. from the ferry to Boston.  However, the first thing on the list of conditions is "For the benefit and pleasure of all campers, no alcohol is allowed in the park".  Right!!

We had an awesome day in Boston today.  Took the City View trolley and got a good overview of the city and walked a bit on the Freedom Trail.  I know all this stuff about the Revolutionary War is in there in the dark recesses of my brain and it did come back to the forefront a little today.  Got a good photo of the Old North Church (and went inside!) and Paul Revere's house.  Just so awesome to see buildings and homes that are over 300 years old!  We just don't see that on the west coast.  We saw the building where the Declaration of Independence was read to Bostoners in 1776 (ish).  Amazing!!

Tomorrow, we will go back to Boston, and have an big agenda if the body will cooperate.  No matter if you use the trolley, you still have a lot of walking to do.  Our WIFI is very poor so can't upload any pictures at this time.  But, we plan to spend a couple of days in Cape Cod before we move on to Philadelphia.  Can't believe we're only around 40 miles from Cape Code and only a bit farther to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard!!  Will send pictures ASAP.
