We're really loving Bar Harbor.  We got here right after checkout time yesterday in hopes of getting a view spot.  They don't take reservations here at Bar Harbor Campground, $42/night full hookups.  The closest we could find was a couple rows back.  It was hot yesterday, around 85+ so needless to say the guys were dripping with sweat when we got all settled in.  Well, shortly after that, one rig started pulling out of the front row so Denny told Dick he'd help him if he wanted to move...and so they did.  We'd have been happy if one of us had the view.  As we were sitting there holding down the spot while they moved, the next door neighbor said he was also pulling out.  So Denny went back and undid everything and brought the trailer over here right next to Dick and Renee.  We really lucked out!! We ate dinner across the street at Lobster Pound and had our first Maine Lobster. YUUMMM!

Today, we drove into Acadia National Park which was absolutely beautiful, and had lunch in the cute little village of Bar Harbor.  We had our first lobster roll.  It was good but pretty pricey for what we got, $18 for a small sandwich.   Tonight we plan to drive to the top of Cadillac Mountain, a whopping 1500 feet high, and watch the sunset.  And, tomorrow morning, we're going to try putting our kayaks in a nice quiet cove and paddle around a bit.
